About

I work where business,
data, and AI come together.

I'm Tay, an independent AI consultant and the person behind Werkhaus. My background spans analytics, e-commerce, marketing, technology, and AI. I tend to approach AI from the business problem first, not the tool.

Tay Hutzel
The path here

I've spent my career figuring out how data and technology can make businesses work better.

My career started in automotive marketing and evolved into analytics, e-commerce, and technology. Along the way, I've worked across agencies, brands, and a public company, building reporting systems, analyzing customer behavior, connecting data, improving digital commerce, and helping teams make better decisions.

As AI became more capable, my work naturally moved beyond analyzing problems to building solutions for them. I've worked across AI visibility, automation, integrations, reporting, and custom tools that connect AI with real business data and workflows.

I created Werkhaus to bring those pieces together: business strategy, analytics, and hands-on AI implementation.

How I work

Strategy is more useful when you can actually build the thing.

I like working across the full problem, from figuring out the opportunity and understanding the data and systems behind it to helping turn the idea into something useful.

Building & Technology

Hands-on enough to understand how the solution actually gets made.

Working together

You work directly with me.

Werkhaus is intentionally independent. There aren't layers of account management between the business problem and the person designing the solution. I work directly with clients from figuring out the opportunity through implementation.
